*Position Summary/Responsibilities:*
This job provides individualized medical care of assigned patients in person, electronically and via telephone, as needed, under the supervision of a licensed health care provider.
Attends monthly staff meetings and in-services.
Support and utilization of the electronic medical record system is required.
The incumbent will:
* Provide basic and fundamental patient care in conformance with the nursing plan of care and policies and procedures
* Assist with patient flow through the clinic
* Ensure readiness of clinics for patient care including room prep, equipment checks, cleanliness and availability of supplies and working equipment
* Communicate with patients, providers and other disciplines to ensure a positive patient experience
* Obtain vital signs
* Prepare examination rooms for patient visits
* Provide appropriate care to the population served which includes: neonates, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
* Assist with procedures and advanced tasks for specific areas
* Provide other duties as assigned.
Normal working hours are Monday - Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Lunch and breaks are dictated by workflow.

*Minimum Qualifications:*
Applicant must meet the following:
· BCLS Certification
· One year experience in a patient care setting.
· Certificate of completion from an accredited medical assistant training program.
