Hiring & Benefits Coordinator
We are looking for an efficient Human Resources (HR) Coordinator to undertake a variety of HR administrative duties to include hiring and benefits.
You will facilitate daily HR functions like keeping track of applicants and supporting the interview process.
Your role involves performing tasks with a focus to grow our company’s talent pipeline and improve our sourcing tactics.
The ideal candidate will have a broad knowledge of Human Resources as well as general administrative responsibilities.
He/She will be able to work autonomously and efficiently to ensure the end-to-end running of HR projects and operations.
To succeed in this role, you should be familiar using HR software and tools.
Ultimately, you should be able to contribute to the attainment of specific goals and results of the HR department and the organization.
*Responsibilities*
* Respond to internal and external HR related inquiries or requests and provide assistance
* Support the recruitment/hiring process by sourcing candidates, performing background checks, assisting in shortlisting, issuing employment offers, performing pre-employment processes etc.
* Protects organization’s value by keeping information *confidential*.
* Recruitment: Recruits, screens and interviews job applicants to fill entry level positions.
Conducts phone interviews, reference and background checks and schedules personal interviews for HR Manager; organizes hiring paperwork and conducts pre-employment briefings.
Maintains reports to support
* Works very closely with Operations Department (Group Home and Dorm Supervisors) to ensure adequate staffing levels and scheduling at all times.
* Benefits: Administers various employee benefit programs such as group insurance, life, medical, dental, accident and disability insurance and savings.
Provides benefit orientations along with HR Manager, and enrollments.
Verifies the calculation of the monthly premiums statements for all group insurance policies and maintains statistical data relative to premiums, claims and costs.
Resolves administrative problems with the carrier representatives.
Responsible in obtaining statistics and information in renewal process of any Health, Life and Retirement plans that benefit the company.
Prepares and sets up meetings designed to help employees obtain information and understand company benefits and other related incentive programs.
* Refers to HR Manager with all employee complaints.

Schedules interviews as requested by HR Manager.
* Assist HR Manager to maintain and coordinate employee recognition programs.
Assists or prepares correspondence for recruitment and benefits.
*Skills*
* Proven experience as an HR coordinator or relevant human resources/administrative position
* Knowledge of human resources processes and best practices
* Strong ability in using MS Office (MS Excel and MS Powerpoint, in particular
* )Familiarity with social media recruiting Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills Ability to handle data with confidentiality
* Good organizational and time management skills
* BSc/BA in Business Administration / Human Resource Management or relevant HR experience (2-3 years generalist experience) additional education in Human Resource Management will be a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.
