RN - ER Night Shift

Duties: - Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Room setting - Perform triage assessments and prioritize patient needs - Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians - Monitor and assess patient vital signs and response to interventions - Assist with airway management and emergency procedures - Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to coordinate patient care - Document patient information accurately and timely in electronic medical records (Epic) - Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe environment - Provide education and support to patients and their families Requirements: - Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of [Location] - Minimum of [X] years of experience working in an Emergency Room setting - Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology - Proficiency in using electronic medical record systems, preferably Epic - Ability to perform airway management and emergency procedures - Familiarity with ambulatory surgery center operations and protocols - Experience working with pediatric patients is preferred - Knowledge of ICD-9 coding and documentation requirements - Understanding of infection control practices and occupational health guidelines - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Please note that this is not an exhaustive list of duties or requirements.
