Current Louisiana Licensed Nurse – RN 2 years experience required.
Maintain current CPR/BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification.

This role requires strong leadership, clinical expertise, and the ability to maintain high standards of patient care while adhering to regulatory guidelines and best practice standards.
Additionally, is able to perform general nursing duties in all departments with adequate supervision.
Required Certifications and Licenses Current Louisiana Licensed Nurse - RN Current BLS/ACLS/PALS Certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire Reports to Chief Nursing Officer Minimum Skills (Competencies), Experience and Educational Requirements • Current, unrestricted RN license in the state of Louisiana • Associates of Science in Nursing (ASN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred • Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience, with at least 2 years in management or supervision • Strong understanding of healthcare regulations, compliance standards, and accreditation requirements.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant healthcare technology.
Job Responsibilities/Duties • Staff Management: Lead, supervise, and mentor nursing staff, including recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
• Clinical Oversight: Ensure adherence to evidence-based practice standards, protocols, and guidelines for both inpatient and outpatient care.
• Quality Assurance: Monitor and maintain quality assurance programs, including regular audits, to guarantee compliance with accreditation and regulatory standards.
• Collaboration: Foster a collaborative environment by working closely with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, therapists, and administrative staff.
• Budgeting and Resource Management: Participate in budget planning and resource allocation to optimize nursing services while ensuring cost-effectiveness.
• Policy Implementation: Implement and enforce hospital policies, procedures, and best practices related to nursing care, patient safety, and infection control.
• Patient Advocacy: Advocate for patients' needs and rights, ensuring compassionate and respectful care delivery.
• Performance Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance patient care, staff satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
• Emergency Preparedness: Develop and oversee emergency response protocols to ensure readiness for critical situations.
• Training and Development: Organize and facilitate continuing education programs for nursing staff to promote professional development and keep abreast of advancements in healthcare staff management.
• Performance of any additional roles or assignments that fall within the RN scope of practice as assigned by the Chief Nursing Officer and/or CEO to assist in meeting patient needs of the facility.
