Perioperative LPN/OR Tech/Clinic Nurse

Description: Perioperative LPN/OR Tech/Clinic Nurse The LPN role will include, but is not limited to: Surgery Department On designated surgery days, the LPN will report at 6:30am-3:30pm with a 30 minute lunch break.
Surgery Day hours may vary depending on number of surgery cases scheduled.
Surgery call may be required.
Duties: Call patients from waiting room, gown patient and prepare for surgery.
Start IV and document once chart has been opened by RN.
Assist patient with any needs.
Assist RN in recovery room.
Transport patient to automobile when discharged.
Assist with restocking rooms.
Learn scrub tech duties.
(Wash, wrap and sterilize instruments) Assist surgeon with Colo/EGD.
Enter surgery supplies and charges.
Log each surgery into Surgery Log.
Make copy of daily log and place in binder.
Wound Care Department Designated wound care days, the LPN will assist Kay Shepard, FNP from 1:00-3:30 p.
m.
Duties: Gather supplies for wound care Call patients back for wound care Take vital signs Undress wound, assist in measuring and taking pictures of wound Clean room and prepare for next patient At end of day, bring dirty instruments to dirty supply room Winn Wellness Clinic On designated clinic days for Surgeon, LPN will work in WWC from 8:00am-5:00pm with a 1 hour lunch break.
Duties: Pull patients back for appointment Chart in Athena Assist Surgeon as needed Assist with IOP’s Assist with pre-op and post-op paperwork Assist with confirming patients and follow-up on incoming and outgoing referrals Requirements: -LPN EXPERIENCE PREFERRED -FULL-TIME -ON-CALL ROTATION -BLS
