Social Worker

*Social Worker/Counselor* Mercy Behavioral Hospital is searching for Full time and PRN social workers/counselors who are motivated to work in a energetic, multi-disciplinary setting where the focus is on outstanding patient care and improving patient outcomes both in the treatment setting and upon discharge.
Job duties will include completing group therapy sessions, completing psychosocial assessments in a timely manner for incoming patients, and creating individualized treatment plans for patients.
*OTHER FUNCTIONS:* Perform other functions and tasks as assigned.
*EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:* Master's degree in Social Work and/or Counseling from an accredited college or university.
Graduate of accredited Master's degree Social Work/Counseling program with two or more years' related experience working within mental health.
CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification required (training available upon hire and offered by facility).
*LICENSES/DESIGNATIONS/CERTIFICATIONS:* State licensure, as required by the state in which the facility operates; which could include: Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Social Worker (LSW), Provisional Licensed Professional Counseling (PLPC), Licensed Professional Counseling (LPC) Must be available to work as needed on weekends with some evening weekday work optional.
