RN - OR Circulator - In-House Contract

Description: RN OR Circulator assesses, plans, implements and evaluates the nursing care plan of patients within the surgical services department.
Performs a focused assessment of the patient and monitors procedures in the operating room during surgery.
Maintains sterility, safety and organization of the surgeon and the patient to ensure the best outcome.
Ensures nursing services are delivered to each patient in accordance with quality standards, medical plan of care and policies.
Must have a wide range of skills to accommodate a variety of surgery specialties.
Requirements: Must have OR Circulator experience! Licenses/Certificates: Current Registered Nurse license (either Louisiana RN or Compact RN) verified thru Louisiana State Board of Nursing or Nursys BLS/CPR certification- American Red Cross (ARC) or American Heart Association (AHA) ACLS certification PALS certification
