Controller/Lead Accountant

*Ross Bus Sales has been providing quality sales, service, and leasing for 40 years in the state of Louisiana.
We are the licensed Blue Bird dealer for Louisiana as well as a Cummins dealer.
* *We are currently looking for a high performing MECHANIC to add to our growing team in Addis, LA.
* *Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities* * Perform preventative maintenance inspections and repairs * Perform major and minor electrical / mechanical repairs on both gas and diesel engines * Perform road test on vehicles as needed * Perform other duties as assigned *Work Environment* * *Consistent Hours (7:30-4:30 M-F)* * No weekends * Clean Work Space / no working in a parking lot * Admin / manager that handles job handouts, parts, and service calls *Education and Experience* * High School Diploma or equivalent (Preferred) * Medium duty / heavy duty equipment experience (preferred) * Cummins experience a plus * Ford Gas or Propane Engine experience a plus * Able to obtain a CDL for School Buses (Required) *Abilities* * Able to obtain a CDL for school buses * Able to recognize the importance of safety work habits and safety rules * Able to communicate with co-workers and customers *Career Path* * Potential for growth with the growth of business * We are looking to buy or build a new facility in this area.
