*Summary/ Objective * This role will be responsible for analyzing training needs, developing curriculum and delivering courses for employees.
The training coordinator will evaluate the trainee for effectiveness of training and individual employee growth.
The training coordinator will be responsible for development of reporting for measurement of training needs and results.
A training schedule will be maintained by the Training Coordinator *Essential Functions* Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
1.
Develop, implement and deliver training programs for varying of individuals at The Arc Rapides.
2.
Develop and maintain continual education support materials to assist The Arc Rapides.
These materials will be used for reference once training has been completed.
3.
Consult with the Director, his/her designee, supervisors and contractors of The Arc Rapides to assess training needs and develop programs to match these needs.
Continually evaluate procedures to monitor and analyze effectiveness and update curriculum as needed.
4.
Document procedures for The Arc Rapides.
5.
Encourage and support a safe environment with safety plans to ensure success 6.
Must maintain professional conduct and image.
7.
Must demonstrate time management and to work independently.
8.
Take initiative when conditions warrant.
9.
Comply with companies’ policy, procedures and licensing standards.
10.
Maintain confidentially consistent with company procedures.
*Required Education and Experience* 1.
Must be a college graduate in Social Work or Education 2.
Preference may be given for additional education and certifications *Skills Needed* 1.
Must demonstrate mature judgement providing support services 2.
Must maintain professional conduct and image 3.
Must communicate effectively with written and verbal skills 4.
Must demonstrate effective time management skills and ability to manage multiple tasks 5.
Must accurately maintain recordkeeping and information systems 6.
Must demonstrate ability to work independently 7.
Must be able to evacuate the premises independently in case of emergency and assist program participants and other employees and to do the same 8.
Physical ability to lift fifty (50) pounds *Additional Eligibility Qualifications* 1.
Must pass criminal history check 2.
Must pass drug screen & alcohol test 3.
