*Job Title: Property Manager*
*Job Summary:* The Property Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing property and supply management activities within the contract framework.
With a comprehensive understanding of property management policies and regulations, the Manager ensures efficient and effective operations.
Proficiency in AR 735-5, Supply bulletin 700-20, and familiarity with FAR, DFARS, and other relevant regulations are essential.
The Manager is adept at analyzing complex supply issues and possesses strong communication skills to convey regulations and conduct investigations.
Experience as a Brigade level or higher Property Book Officer (PBO) is desired, along with an active SECRET level security clearance.
*Key Responsibilities:*
* *Property Management:* Oversee all aspects of property and supply management operations, ensuring compliance with regulations and contractual requirements.
* *Policy Adherence:* Maintain a thorough understanding of property management policies and processes, ensuring adherence to established procedures.
* *Regulatory Compliance:* Ensure compliance with AR 735-5, Supply bulletin 700-20, FAR, DFARS, and other applicable regulations governing property management.
* *Analysis and Evaluation:* Utilize specialized methods and techniques to analyze and evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of supply programs and operations.
* *Issue Resolution:* Independently analyze and resolve complex issues and problems related to supply processes, work methods, or day-to-day operational procedures.
* *Communication:* Effectively communicate orally and in writing, explaining regulations, conducting investigations, and providing guidance to staff and stakeholders.
* *Property Book Management:* Apply expertise in item unique identification (IUID) and manage property books in accordance with established protocols.
* *Leadership and Supervision:* Provide leadership and supervision to property management staff, ensuring cohesive teamwork and optimal performance.
* *Documentation and Reporting:* Maintain accurate records of property transactions, conduct audits as necessary, and prepare reports for internal and external stakeholders.
* *Continuous Improvement:* Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of property management operations.
*Qualifications:*
* Experience and knowledge of property and supply management policies and processes.
* Proficiency with AR 735-5, Supply bulletin 700-20, FAR, DFARS, and other relevant regulations.
* Capability to independently analyze and resolve difficult issues involving supply processes.
* Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
* Experience as a Brigade level or higher Property Book Officer (PBO) desired.
